It’s Holy Week. A week that will end as it ushers in the silence of the whole world holding its breath for what happens next.
It’s Holy Week. A week filled with noise, from the hosannas shouted at the beginning of the week to the curses screamed at the end of the week.
It’s Holy Week. A week that I want to be silent as I contemplate what our Savior has done for all of us.
It’s Holy Week. And like most weeks in my life, it’s filled with the noise of work demands and social media and all things clamoring for my attention.
The testimony in this week is not yours or mine. It’s the testimony of a just God who keeps His promises and spares no expense to save His people.
It’s Holy Week. As the noise builds to a near-deafening roar, let’s remember that the silence is coming. The silence that echoes with the love of our Father.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
