But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

Great podcast, Holly!

Thank you, Andrew! Happy to see your face this morning.
Holly,
I needed this today! Even after 3 years of being in a new place, I still get weary thinking “it shouldn’t be this hard to make lasting friendships”. But it just does! But in the mean time there are many things I can be joyous over. And even when my current circumstances may not necessarily, in the worlds view, warrant “joy”, I have to be reminded that I don’t live in the world’s view.
Love you!!!!!!!!
I think we all need an extra dose of joy from time to time! It is hard to make those transitions and I feel your pain, having been in a new place for two years. But we can rest in the joy of our relationship with the Lord and keeping up with friends online, right? 🙂 Love you too!
Hey, Holly! Unlike the majority of the world, I hate listening to things 😉 (yes, this extends to not even really enjoying taking on the phone–my family thinks I’m strange). But I wanted to hear your voice and what you had to say about Joy, so I played your sweet podcast :). Thank you for the encouragement!

Thanks for listening, Anita! I hope it wasn’t too hard on your ears. 🙂 I’m glad you listened in, even though it’s not your favorite thing to do. Your encouragement is precious to me.
It’s so fun to watch kids. They know how to exude joy. It truly is a gift of the Spirit.
