Have you ever driven through a hail storm? What about a hail storm of life? When you are in the middle of that kind of storm, it can feel like God doesn’t care or has forgotten you. In today’s episode, we will talk about how it feels to be in that place and what we can do to keep hanging on.

Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. Mark 4:38-39

All storms are big in our lives because we are uncertain as to how we are going to wait it out and make it through. I love how you shared that you don’t know our storms, but you know who is in our boat with us. The image of Jesus in the stern, even if he is sleeping, is reassuring as we face whatever life brings us.
Can’t wait to see you in a couple of days! 🙂

I hadn’t ever thought of that, Mary, but you are so right. There’s no such thing as a little life storm! And yes, His presence is always reassuring to us. I think I might have learned that from you. Can’t wait to hug your neck again!
Wow, Holly! Your podcast is really rocking, Girl! You’re doing such a good job. Love the story about the hail storm and the connection with Mark 6. Great practical applications at the end.
