I see His Presence all around me. In all the shapes and colors, all the faces, all the sights and sounds, all the words. And yet there are days when I look hard and what I think I see is thin and wispy and doubtful.

So I go to His word, The Word, and look and listen, grasping for the reality that I know is there but sometimes seems all too distant.

On the distant days, I’m ever grateful for the reassurances that He is ever present. And I pray that He makes His Presence known every day, in every way, that is palpable and personal and purposeful.

He is ever present with me;
    at all times He goes before me.
I will not live in fear or abandon my calling
    because He stands at my right hand.

Psalm 16:8 (VOICE)
